    Meaningful, Important and Relatable Story

Our theatre had the honor of spending the bulk of our school year 23/24 with this script. From our regional festival with the Kentucky Theatre Association to state and eventually the Southeastern Theatre Conference, we enjoyed every moment of Liv and Mia's story. With each step of the journey, we found that audiences were moved to react to the story as it unfolded on stage. Theatre can be one of the most powerful ways to communicate tough topics, and this one certainly does that with grace and hope. We would also be awarded the Kentucky Thespians Chapter Select and go on to showcase at the International Thespian Festival in June 24 at Bloomington, In. We just can't say enough good things about Emily's writing and the way it gave opportunities, not only to the central characters, but the ensemble. Our entire cast was bought in from day 1, and the room to be creative and expressive with this piece is limitless. Also, I'd like to add that StagePartners have been incredible to work with. Always helpful, supportive and truly interested in what we're doing with our productions. You won't go wrong with this script or publisher!!!

Incredibly moving and powerful drama with expandible casting

This show tackles HARD stuff (self harm, abuse), but can be played off sublter if necessary. Strongly reccommend if your group is mature enough to handle it. Pacing and versatility are essential, but so many opportunities for growth and my HS kids loved performing this! Set is simple, the show has a powerful message, and the opportunities for imagery are endless!
