Former citizens of a mythical Midwestern town speak from the grave of the day-to-day hopes and dreams of their lives. Touching, anguished, and contemptuous, their voices and stories weave together in this fresh new take on a modern American classic. You won't forget what you've heard from these distinctively small-town folk as they evoke universal themes of hope, despair, and love.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERSAsk a Question
1. What is the one-act royalty rate? 2. If our COVID status prevents us from offering live performances, will the difference between the live- and virtual-performance rates be refunded to us? Thanks!
Thanks for your interest! The royalty for the one-act is $50 per performance. The royalty is the same if it performed live or virtually. If it is recorded and streamed, then the royalty for equal to one performance for every day it is available online. Performance royalties are refundable up until the date of the peformance, so if you have to make any changes for COVID-status or otherwise, that will not be a problem. Please let us know if you need anything else at email@example.com
Will you allow my high school to record it for competition? We are doing a virtual contest this year in Minnesota.
Hi Margaret, Yes recording to use for competition would be permitted. Every day/time the recording is streamed and/or available would be equal to one stage performance royalty. Please let us know if you have any other questions at firstname.lastname@example.org. Thanks!
Can you edit this work for a one act 35 minutes?
Hello! Thanks for your interest. Your request would be approved to cut for time - and we can set you up with a one-act royalty rate. Please let us know when you're ready to move forward at email@example.com. Thanks!
