Jane Best is a theatre musician, educator, and playwright currently living in Missoula, Montana. Originally from the Philadelphia area, she grew up obsessed with music, theatre, and the intersections between the two. She has taught music and theatre courses at all age levels and has worked in educational theatre settings in South Carolina, New York, California, and Montana. Other works include the musicals Welcome to the Void (co-written with Elli Caterisano, The University of Montana 2021 Mainstage Season) and Spin Rate (co-written with Jadd Davis, Downtown Dance Collective New Works Initiative). Jane received an MFA in Music Direction from the University of Montana and a BS in Music Education from Gettysburg College.
