Michael Bauer is a writer, producer, and director specializing in all things funny. After earning his BFA in theater from NYU, and his MFA from UCLA, he studied clowning with such circus greats as Daniel Passer (Cirque du Soliel) Harold Moeller (Ringling Bros.) and Aitor Basauri (Spy Monkey). He then toured his first two person clown show throughout Italy, and has been writing and creating ever since. Michael’s plays have been performed on stages in NYC, Los Angeles, and even Dubai. Today Michael is the writer and creator of “Space Lightning,” a kids tv show coming soon to Yippee TV and Amazon Prime, as well as numerous award winning comedy festival films.
