Alan Haehnel lives in Hartford, Vermont with his wife and daughter. He has two grown children as well who live nearby. He teaches English at Hanover High School in Hanover, New Hampshire. Over the past 25 years, Alan has also been active in the theater world as a director and playwright. He has published over 100 plays, mainly one-acts, which have been performed all over the world. Many have won awards in various high and middle school play competitions. Besides writing, Alan enjoys camping, playing volleyball, and dreaming of writing that one perfect show that will work for everyone, everywhere.
